JENNIFER MEDOFF

For nearly 25 years, I have been designing homes across Colorado, California and New York. My daily inspiration comes from a deep need to create, a desire to nurture people in the spaces where they live, and the satisfaction of bringing order to the thousand moving parts of a project.

I grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I attended Colorado State University in its FIDER-accredited Interior Design Program. Frequent international travel, along with studies in world art history opened my eyes to the methods, materials and meaningful ways people have shaped their environments for centuries to express their values, meet their needs, and enrich their everyday life. Rather than designing with a signature style, I let the personality of each home emerge from its architecture and the people who live there. My approach is simple: listen first and design second.

While my work has been recognized nationally through awards and publications, my greatest satisfaction comes from creating spaces that feel both beautiful and deeply livable. With a strong foundation in architectural details and custom finishes, I believe that flow, traffic patterns, focal points, harmonious material combinations, organic elements and thoughtful lighting can transform a space from “just a room” to an alive, considered environment. Adding softer personal touches, such as a custom rug, or a wall dedicated to children’s art, create the feel of home.

Over the years, my technical expertise, construction knowledge and access to trusted resources have grown. I know how to keep a project moving, anticipate challenges before they arise, adapt to each new team, and solve problems with an experienced level of industry knowledge. What has not changed is my understanding of what makes a space meaningful, and how to read what each client values most. That is where the best design begins.

A BOUTIQUE APPROACH

As a boutique luxury design firm, Dragonfly Designs offers a highly focused and personal approach to each project. While larger firms may entrust your spaces to inexperienced designers, I remain directly involved in every detail. From early concept to final installation, I bring both creative vision and technical oversight to the process. By intentionally limiting the number of projects I take on each year, I’m able to offer a level of attention and discernment that is difficult to achieve at scale. I partner best with clients who value a thoughtful, collaborative process and a home that reflects something deeper than appearances.

PERSONAL

When I’m not designing, you’ll often find me camping, searching for the perfect gluten-free brownie recipe, taking long walks with my husband and our dogs, or laughing and cooking in the kitchen with my kids.

Giving Back

Jennifer Medoff Interiors values the natural environment as much as interior spaces. I appreciate the inspiration of nature, the materials it provides, and how it reminds us of our most basic needs. As I continue my gratitude daily, I regularly contribute to these amazing organizations:
